Right, that’s quite enough dilly-dallying. The RSVP deadline has officially sailed, and the window for procrastination is truly shut. If you managed to hit "submit" in time, well done! We look forward to seeing you at the festival in October!
Friday Theme: Jungle Cruise & Sunset Cocktails Dress Code:
Think White Lotus meets Love Island, but with fewer scandals and better tailoring. We’re talking flowy summer frocks, tropical floral prints, and the kind of outfit that says, “I’m here for the cocktails, not the drama.” The louder the print, the better. If your shirt doesn’t mildly offend a flamingo or the local tarsier, you’re not trying hard enough.
Saturday Theme: Festival Day brief is simple: Be Bold, Be Brave, Be Colourful, and Be Extra.
Prepare to ditch the dreary and embrace the dazzling! Our wedding theme is a riotous, joyful celebration of colour, and we want our guests to look like a freshly opened box of tropical sweets.
We are asking you to embody the entire spectrum of the rainbow, in all its magnificent shades. Think electric blues, burnt oranges, rich emeralds, sunny yellows, deep violets, and magenta. The only hues strictly forbidden are black and white. It's a festive day for life, light, and laughter, not monochrome formality.
The Look:
Colour & Fabric: We recommend solid, vibrant colours that pop (absolutely no prints or patterns, please! You had your chance the day before). The style should be flowy, summer-ready, and entirely danceable.
Footwear: Beach Ready! Please prioritize comfort and practicality for a sandy setting. Opt for sandals (dressy or casual), flats, or other beach-friendly footwear. The ultimate invitation: feel free to go barefoot!
Headwear: Bring the drama! We recommend but not required you to wear the biggest, boldest summer hats you can find: wide-brimmed, beautifully shaped, and ready to cast some glamorous shade.
The Sparkle: Go all out with your finishing touches. We fully recommend glitter makeup! Apply it liberally, eyes, cheeks, shoulders, wherever the light will catch you.
The Garments: Gentlemen, step out in sharp suits or breathable linen sets. Ladies, think free-moving dresses or chic separates.
Filipino Traditional Attire:
Gents and Ladies, if you’re opting for a Terno or Barong Tagalog, do make sure it comes in an actual solid colour, let’s avoid beige or cream… unless, of course, your aim is to blend seamlessly into the décor.
You can also consider a subtle nod to the aesthetic brilliance of our favourite, Director Wes Anderson, but with the crucial caveat that we are, in fact, near water. Think muted pastels, dusty pinks, and mustard yellows, rendered in linen, light cotton, or a suitably breezy fabric. In short: Accidentally Chic, Nostalgic, and Sand-Appropriate. Imagine the Darjeeling Limited had a spontaneous stop-off at the Riviera. Gentlemen, lightweight jackets welcome; ladies, sensible wedges over stilettos, please. No luminous lycra, and absolutely no socks with sandals, even Mr. Anderson wouldn't allow that.
